Day 4: Purified for Purpose

Pastor Mike Nasci

Devotional: The seraphim—the "burning one"—needed tongs to handle the live coal from God's altar because it was too holy, too hot, even for a heavenly being. Yet this same coal touched Isaiah's lips, purging his sin and preparing him for service. God's purification isn't punishment; it's preparation. He doesn't call us and leave us ill-equipped. He cleanses, anoints, and empowers us for the work ahead. Many Christians want to serve God from their comfort zones, unchanged and unchallenged. But effective ministry flows from purified lives.

What "live coal" does God want to touch in your life?

What area needs His purifying fire? Don't shrink back from His sanctifying work.

The burning may be uncomfortable, but it prepares you for the calling He has placed on your life.
