Day 3: Woe Is Me—Undone Before God

Pastor Mike Nasci

Devotional: Isaiah's response to God's holiness wasn't casual—it was visceral: "Woe is me! I am undone!" Confronted with perfect holiness, he immediately recognized his own sinfulness. This wasn't self-loathing but honest self-assessment in light of God's perfection. We live in an age of excuses: "God knows my heart," we say, while harboring secret sins. But encountering true holiness leaves no room for rationalization. Isaiah didn't point to others' sins; he cried out about his own unclean lips.

The beautiful truth? God doesn't leave us in our undone state. He purges our sin with the fire of His holiness.

Today, stop making excuses. Come before God honestly, acknowledging specific areas of sin. Let Him touch you with His purifying fire and experience true cleansing.
