Day 4: When Works Speak Louder Than Words

Devotional: Some people's sins are obvious; others hide them well. Some people's good works shine brightly; others serve quietly. But nothing remains hidden forever. God sees everything—the secret sins and the humble service. This truth should both comfort and convict us. You can't fake spiritual maturity indefinitely. Eventually, fruit reveals the root. The question isn't whether your works will be revealed, but what they'll reveal about your heart. Good works don't save us, but they're the natural overflow of salvation. When Christ transforms you, good works follow inevitably. Don't seek applause for your service; seek to glorify God. The works done for His glory alone will last eternally, while those done for human recognition burn away like wood, hay, and stubble.
