Day 3: True Contentment

Contentment isn't about having everything; it's about recognizing that Christ is everything. Paul learned to be content in abundance and in need because his satisfaction came from Jesus, not circumstances. We live in a culture that constantly whispers, "You need more." More money, more possessions, more experiences. But we entered this world with nothing and will leave with nothing except our relationship with Christ and those we've brought to Him. The chase for "more" robs us of the joy available right now. Godliness with contentment truly is great gain.

Today, inventory your heart: What am I chasing besides Jesus? What "shiny things" distract me from the richness I already have in Christ? Thank God specifically for what He's already provided.
