Day 4: The Love of Money

Money itself is neutral—a tool that can be used for good or evil. The danger lies in loving it, in making it our master rather than our servant. The pursuit of wealth as life's primary goal leads to temptation, foolish desires, and ultimately spiritual destruction. Many have shipwrecked their faith on the rocks of greed, piercing themselves with countless sorrows. Jesus warned we cannot serve both God and money; our hearts will inevitably belong to one.

Consider: Where is your treasure? What occupies your thoughts—kingdom advancement or personal accumulation? God promises to provide what we truly need. Will you trust Him enough to hold your possessions loosely, using whatever He's given you for His glory rather than your comfort?
