Day 5: Evangelism is Lifeblood

Devotional:

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." This isn't a suggestion for the spiritually elite—it's a commission for every believer. Evangelism is the lifeblood of the church. When we stop sharing our faith, we fossilize. We become stagnant, lifeless, and ineffective.

The gospel is good news that must be shared. People around you are searching, hungry, desperate for hope. They won't find it in the world's empty promises. They need to hear that their sins can be forgiven, their shame can be removed, and their lives can be transformed through Jesus Christ.

You may not feel gifted as an evangelist, but like Timothy, you're called to "do the work of an evangelist." Spend time in God's presence, be filled with His Spirit, and then go. Invite someone to church. Share your story. Proclaim the message God gives you. Salvation is available to all who repent—but they must hear.

Reflection Question: When was the last time you shared the gospel with someone? What holds you back?

Application: This week, intentionally invite one person to church or share your testimony with someone who needs hope. Ask God for boldness and divine appointments.
